[Theme: Savile Row] Featured section image incorrectly cropped
-
Hello,
I’m making a site with the Savile Row theme and I’ve been having a problem with the thumbnails for the ‘Featured’ section on the Custom Homepage.
The Featured Image for one of my pages only partially displays. Three quarters of the image is cropped out. The image shares the same dimensions and resolution as another image used for another page that shows up correctly. I switched the images between pages: this is only a problem with the specific image I want to use, it doesn’t appear to be connected with the page. As I trouble shoot, I’ve tried:
- Deleting and re-uploading the image
- Changing the image resolution
- Recreating the page
- Changing the default height and width of the image in CSS
- Re-installing the theme
I’ve managed to partially locate the problem with Firebug. The theme is using an automatically cropped version of the image I’ll call “red_poster.jpg”. I uploaded “red_poster.jpg”, but the html on the page is referring a file called “red_poster-842×420.jpg”.
The correctly displayed image is being dynamically resized to fit into the page.
Can anyone help me get the theme to display my image correctly in the Savile Row ‘Featured’ section?
Here’s a screen shot of the page in question.
I’m creating the site on a local instance of WordPress v.3.8.5. (from the Ubuntu repo) The final version will be hosted on a site that runs 4.4.1.
