? about bounces for NE1 using Amazon SES

From the MailPoet KB:
“You won’t be able to handle bounces with an Amazon SES account; there’s no way to forward the bounced messages to another email address”
Amazon has a bounce FAQ here https://docs.aws.amazon.com/ses/latest/DeveloperGuide/e-faq-bn.html
So it seems it is possible to manage bounces. Is anyone doing this successfully with MailPoet and Amazon SES?
