Upload Plugin link redirects to logon page

  • Hello,
    I just installed a new site with the newest version of WordPress and it won’t let me upload a Plugin. Here is a video showing the problem.

    It keeps redirecting me to the login page when I click on the “Upload Plugin” link.

    Does anyone know what is causing my “Upload Plugin” link on the “Plugins” page to redirect to the login page instead of opening a window to upload a plugin?
