wordpress page loads, but dashboard does not

    hey guys so im fairly new to wordpress and im having this issue, where my page will load and run fine. But everytime i try to get into dash board or edit it gves me this

    Warning: require_once(/home/storeramacomp/public_html/wp-admin/includes/admin.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/storeramacomp/public_html/wp-admin/admin.php on line 82

    Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/home/storeramacomp/public_html/wp-admin/includes/admin.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/php54/lib/php’) in /home/storeramacomp/public_html/wp-admin/admin.php on line 82

    im fairly new to wordpress and really need some help on what to do. The last thing that ha;pened before this was a syntax error from placing code in a wrong section which i resolved through FTP but i am confused as to how to fix this. Thanks

    Try downloading WordPress again, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, and delete then replace your copies of everything on the server except the wp-config.php file and the /wp-content/ directory with fresh copies from the download. This will effectively replace all of your core files without damaging your content and settings.

    Some uploaders tend to be unreliable when overwriting files, so don’t forget to delete the original files before replacing them.

    thank you for the quick response, do i need to download the same version of wordpress or will the newest version work the same?

    If you really want to, you can download the same version of WordPress from https://www.ads-software.com/download/release-archive/

    However, you really should consider taking this opportunity to upgrade anyway, as your current version of WordPress is vulnerable to several publicly known security exploits.
