Widget not saving data

The site is running WordPress V 4.5.2

Problem solved, changed PHP version from 7.0.5 to 5.6.2 and it worked.

There’s a small section of the code which uses indirect variables and I think that might be causing the problems (as per the PHP 7 incompatibility list).

If you’d rather use PHP 7.0.5, I’d be happy to upload a development version for you to test.

I’ve uploaded a development version which should fix the problem.

It also includes a test of selective refreshing when previewing the site, although there are a few situations where this breaks and rotation doesn’t restart after updating the options.
