Tablepress suddenly missing from dashboard

“This is then indeed related to that plugin.” Are you referring to the WPFront User Role Editor? TablePress was missing PRIOR to installation of that plugin and I did click to reset the administrator settings and nothing changed.

As for the suggestion you mention, this link isn’t working for me in the post your reference:

ok, then it’s a slightly different issue with the permissions. The solution would still be the same.

If https://dev.rpug.org/wp/wp-admin/options.php is not working, what are you seeing when going there?

ah, now I see what you mean.

That URL is not the one that is relevant for you, it’s the URL of a different user’s site.
You will have to adjust this according to your site’s URL. That is, go to the WP admin Dashboard. You should then see the wp-admin in the URL. Append options.php to that, just like in that other URL to get the relevant URL for your site.
After that, the other steps apply in the same way.
