    Good Morning!
After updating Hueman to 3.1.2 and 3.1.3, on my Single Posts pages, using 2 Column – Content Left, and inheriting the sidebar/content layout from Global on all pages. My Primary widget area shows fine on the main page (drivingshift.com), but on all single posts, it shows the area with the social links header, but no widgets.

I tested as well by going into a single post where I’ve never selected a Post-specific sidebar, and selected for a post “Primary Sidebar”, the one being used on the main page and updated that post. But same issue, when I go to that post, the sidebar exists, but has no widget content.

One of the possible causes I can think of is under Hueman 2.x, I had set the Primary Widget area as the one to use for the main page on a 2 Column layout. But had defined that the “Secondary” Widget area with some slightly different widgets be used on Single Post pages.

If I change the Content Layout from 2 Column to 3 Column and put Widgets in the Secondary Widget area, then that 3rd column shows up fine with the details of what I put in Secondary Widget area, but the outer (2nd) column still does not show what’s defined in Primary Widget area.

Hopefully this is enough detail, to me it feels like a lost setting somewhere and Single Post pages are still looking to add a “Secondary” widget area content, which it can’t given the changes to that being used in 3 Column layouts only. All other direct pages (such as Archives) show the Primary widgets on the right in the 2 column layout correctly.

I’ll also add I’m not using any child themes or other code editing or CSS changes.

    Thanks!

    Good Morning!
Dug around in the notes (excellent commenting by the way!) in init-core.php and found the dev notes on the fix for the sidebar issue in my case. I created a new Sidebar Widget area, duplicated the widgets to it, and then assigned it to all the pages and the 2 column post format, and then removed all the widgets from the “Primary” widget area.

    Thanks!

I’ve got this issue, but Blog Post is enabled in the dynamic widgets section?

    Any ideas?
