Categories disapear in 2.5 then 500 error

    I have noticed that the categories disapear from the sidebar and also from the admin area for no apparant reason, and you cannot add new replacements without getting an error message “category aready exists”

    I have found this then seems to cause a 500 server error, which only goes away when you use the back button on your broser to log out then log back in…

  • I upgrade my wordpress to 2.5 and lost my categories. The interesting is that if i edit an old post i see

    the categories list and the categorie marked. But, if i go to manage categories i cant see them.

    I,ve tried to re-add the cats and got an error message “category aready exists” Any help?

    I want go back to 2.3 but deleted my 2.3 backup. Is there a way to “reverse” the database before upgrade?

    Same problem here no answers anywhere …
