Support needed for buddypress and mobile support

Team,

I have successfully completed setup for most part of my site but seem to be stuck in the mobile view of the buddypress pages. The pages seem to be cluttered in the activity/wall screen with all the content which I’m not able to find a solution anywhere and considering I’m not a techie by nature I’d like to take some help from you guys.

I have buddypress+bbpress setup on avenue theme with all bells and whistles needed for these two to work better and faster.

I tried to install the WP touch plugin but it keeps redirecting me to the home page whatever link I click on. SO I feel fixing the avenue theme is the only option, but I’ll be happy to take any suggestions from you all.

Also the theme is now showing a big black band on top of any page which hides my cover images of profiles and groups. Although I can live without a cover image on my site, I’d like to have this corrected.
