Attach image size

thanks for using MH Newsdesk lite.

The size of the image on the attachment page isn’t defined by the theme, but this is handled by WordPress itself. As far as we know, WordPress makes use of the Medium image size there which you can change in your WordPress dashboard under Settings => Media and afterwards you should regenerate your thumbnails.

As an alternative, if you are familiar with coding, you could also make use of a child theme and then create a custom attachment.php file to output content based on your personal requirements.

In that case the theme you’re using either has a custom attachment.php file or it has set a different default for the Medium image size in WordPress.

That wasn’t what has been instructed. Please do exactly as stated above and simply change the Medium image size in your media settings and then regenerate your thumbnails.

In case you want to code a custom template for the attachment page instead, you also might want to have a look at the WordPress template hierarchy.

If you still don’t believe us that by default WordPress displays the Medium image size on attachment pages, then please do some research as this information is stated in several tutorials and documentation as well, for example here and here.
