Textarea autoresize JQuery problems

I’m trying to set textareas in my forms to grow in height as the user types in more information so that everything that they type in remains visible in the textarea. There are several JQuery plugins and code out there that does this, but I can’t find any information on where to place the code so it works with the Contact Form 7 textareas.
Any information on where to start or how to integrate JQuery/js code into Contact Form 7 would be much appreciated.
