• I love this plugin, but it does not appear to function very well with Advanced Custom Fields. The FooGallery button appears above a wysiwyg ACF field, but clicking on it does nothing. I have to go create the gallery in FooGallery, then paste in the shortcode. Likewise trying to edit the gallery from the ACF field does nothing.

    Hi there

    Glad you like FooGallery ??
I have found the problem and fixed this on the develop branch.
You can test it by downloading the zip here : https://github.com/fooplugins/foogallery/archive/master.zip

sorry that was the wrong link. This is correct : https://github.com/fooplugins/foogallery/archive/develop.zip

    Hello!

Let me say – great plugin.
I am also trying to get acf working with fooGallery.
    Also tried development branch suggested.
Foogallery button works for ACF repeater wysiwyg field IF the page has been previously saved.
So if my client makes a new page and tries to add foogallery to the ACF whitout saving the page first the button wouldn’t be working according to my testing.

Is there a fix? I am not allowed by my boss to hack any plugins and I would really like too keep foo, cause it is doing a really nice job and generally it works on ACF now, just not when page freshly created

Hi @bradvin, i’ve the same problem as @ websydaisy.
When clicking on the Foo button above a WYSIWYG acf field, nothing happens.

What we i do about this?

    Thanks, Dave

    @davelo,

I just tested this and it worked with the latest versions of both plugins. This is what i did:

    1) I created a new filed group which included a field of type WYSIWYG editor, and assigned to the page post type, and published
    2) Added a new page and click the “Add Foogallery” and it popped up the modal to add a gallery
    3) select a gallery and it adds it to the editor

Please can you let me know step by step what you did to get the issue
