  • Same problem with me.
The contact forms worked perfectly, but before several days my client noticed that he didsn’t receive mails from the forms.
1.I updated the plugin and WordPress.
2.Make different configurations of the for + deactivated all other plugins one by one and test the form.
3.I’ve contacted the host company they tested the mails and the used mail is working perfectly.
I’ve noticed one more thing when I create new form it doesn’t show in the list with my forms. If I change the name of my newly created form (if I have left it opened), it appears to the list. That’s strange…

PS I forget to mention that I have “Sent successfully” message after completing the forms.

Same problem for me as well. Emails not going through.
    Contact from 4.4.2
    Wordpress 4.5.2

I have noticed another of my sites with older plugin version 4.3.1 still functioning with same settings

Any ideas how to resolve this issue?

When I click “FORGOT PASSWORD” when logging in to the site it sends the mail fine. Does that mean the Email Module is enabled? I don’t know how to find that out,.

What do you mean by check mail box mail. Is that mail section on the server?

    Thanks.

In the from box there is “[your-name] <[email protected]>”

I do not have a wordpress@doorway…. email, why does it put that and can that be stopping me from receiving mail?

    Thanks!!

I have the same problem, I have a contact form and once sent, I get a message that it was sent successfully on the website, but I never receive the email. It is not my email server, as I can receive other emails outside of Contact Form 7…anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

    Thanks so much!

My problem was my ‘To’ email was going to a hotmail.com email address! I was testing on 2 different hotmail emails and both didnt work. I contacted my hosting service and they suggested trying something other than hotmail due to their spamfilters and bingo!, worked first time.

I had also made previous changes suggested by others (so not sure if its just the hotmail thing or inclusive of previous changes listed below)

    1) adding an email in the ‘From’ section in ‘Mail’ e.g [email protected] (using an email that matches your domain name)
    2) making the subject line a required field and then adding in the ‘Mail’ section under ‘Subject’ a Re: e.g Re: [your-subject]

    Hope that helps! Good luck!
