• This morning one of my members couldn’t access the content on the website. I checked the status of her membership and saw that it had expired, and yet I know that her money came in this month just as it should.

    Then I noticed several others that had expired, and yet their PayPal subscriptions had been processed, I have received their money, and the payments are registered on SM.

    Why is this happening? How do I prevent it from happening in future?

    Hi Mary, is this happening to all or only a few? Can you enable Debug Mode if it is not already enabled. Then check the log file and report back. Make sure any sensitive data is not displayed. Make sure you check the log file after another transaction.

    It is only happening to a few which is what I found so interesting – and it just started recently.

    I actually forgot about this issue until today when some regular monthly subscription payments came in and I noticed that again some of my members are showing as expired even though they have paid.

    I changed their status to active this morning, left for the day, came back home tonight to go back to it and I see that they have gone back to being expired.

    I had cleared the log and then turned on debug on May 18. Log seems to show everything successful and yet memberships are showing expired. I am reluctant to share the log here. May I email it privately along with screenshot of expired members?

    This happens to me as well…

    I have a site with 4 different subscription levels / lengths

    Daily
    Weekly
    Montly
    Full Season (4 months)

    When the Daily subscription ends, the users account becomes “Inactive”…

    When the user repurchases another “daily” membership, it is not “re-activating” their membership, to give them access to the member only content…

    Is there a fix for this?

    I had created the buttons on PayPal instead of following the instructions at

    I’m assuming that was one problem, however I’ve just checked, and once again I have an expired member whose payment is not due until tomorrow.
