Repair Database Failes

  • wp_options: Table is marked as crashed and last repair failed

    CAn some please assist me with resolving this issue. My site will not load because it cannot connect to the database. thank you.

  • First deactivate all plugins & switch to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems. Then, using Phpmyadmin (or whatever MySQL management tool your host provides), try repairing that table again.

    is this on shared hosting or on a VPS?

    If shared, try using phpmyadmin to repair the table. If on a vps, shut down apache/http and use mysqlcheck from the command line to repair it.
