  • Hello everybody, my name is Ron.
    I am very new in the world of wordpress.
    I am struggling to find out how to make a searchable stocklist in wordpress.
    The stocklist is about items with an ID, brand, type etc.
    I would like the People visiting the website to be able to go through the list via a search option.
    I made the website, and I made a database with phpmyadmin.
    I need to know how to link them together, or at least what to do to make the stocklist visible in wordpress.
    Please help me to find the right way.

  • Hi Ron,

    Are you selling your stock online? I am not quite sure if you are aware about WooCommerce. If you are selling online with WordPress as your backend framework you should consider using WooCommerce. Woo Commerce lets you list your stock/inventory and provides a lot more features like searching etc.

    I also found another plugin called “Stockist” that works together with WooCommerce. Take a look at that too as it may be helpful.

    There are a lot of plugins available for common tasks which do not require custom coding and saves a lot of time and effort. I think the WooCommerce plugin will be a great help in your case.
