Internet Explorer Crashes when i go to WordPress

  • When i try and go to my website through internet explorer, IE gives me a error that it has to crash and shutdown IE. I am running 2.5 and the site is https://filmgrenade.com . I have know idea why it just started happening today. i have not touched any of the wordpress files except for the wp-content/themes. I am thinking about going to 2.3 to fix this problem. does anyone know a way to fix this error in 2.5

  • I just tried it with ie7 and had no issue. I queued it for some screenshots at https://browsershots.org/https://filmgrenade.com/ which will test it a bunch of browsers and show you the results.

    Thanks Hyper, but this is weird. i went on two different windows computers in two different houses and used IE7 and both gave me the same “Operation error” I used my Mac with Safari and Firefox and both work fine. Is it wordpress or IE? any ideas.

    I just tried in IE6 and had no issues.

    You might try validating your code at https://validator.w3.org/ as there appear to be some errors in your coding. Although the W3.org validator doesn’t seem to like video embedding code (that’s just the way it is with the validator), fixing some of the other errors might help you out.

    ok so it looks like i have some bad coding. I will fix the code and get back to you guys on what happened. I still think that this is strange that IE7 on the PC’s i use are giving errors but Diane and Hypers will not. I will let you guys know what happens.
