My blog is running, but nevertheless I have the feeling that my question should be under “installation issues”.

Everything used to work as expected. But now something has changed, and I get a very annoying error. The two “clues” I can give are:
    – When I log in to the Administration Panel everything works – but I’ve noticed that the address bar of my browser shows that I am in “https://…mydomain…//wp-admin/index.php” (notice the double bar before “wp-admin”). Still, I can move aroud the panel with no problems.
    – But when I exit the panel (for example, by clicking “save changes” in the widget screen, but also in others) my browser gives a 404 “not found” error – because it looks for “https://wp-admin/widgets.php?message=updated”, a page that obviously does not exist.

?What have I done wrong? – I have installed a few widgets etc, but haven’t touched my admin.php or other “backend” pages. Oh, I have moved WP to a new subdomain (more details), but everything seemed to be working all right.

    Oops… I fixed it.

The mistake was mine: I had a typo in the login link in the sidebar, as simple as that :-((

    Thank you in any case.
