    There aren’t any domain dependencies in the code that I’m aware of, when you say you “changed to the right domain” how did you do that?

    Check your log files as well and see if there’s anything there.

    If you disable the externals like GeoIP and Piwik, does it run faster?

    Hi,

    I move the website without plugin and via FTP.
    The website works very well without issues, if WP Statistics not installed.

    Here you see the last Apache Logs when i try the activate the plugin:

    It is not possible working on the website if the WP statistics-plugin is activated; it is tooooo slow!!!!

    Did you try disabling the externals?

    Assuming your running WP4.5, that timeout is in the internal directory creation function, which could be failing due to permissions on the new install.
