• My email icon image is in Media library. I added the URL but the page is not recognized when clicking on it.

  • Hi @pprasatik,

I’m not sure what you’re referring to. Would you please clarify what you’re trying to achieve and provide a step-by-step account of what you’ve done so far to achieve it? I’ll see how I can help from there.

This following links offer examples and the best explanation to what I am referring to. The first two are website links using the Sela Theme ~ If you scroll to the bottom where the Social Icons are & click on the Mail Envelope icon it directs you to a blank page. The third website link refers to a question addressed to Microsoft Community which I googled out of desperation. Seems to be a glitch that needs to be addressed because offering the option is misleading. Same glitch exists in Yellow Page marketing ads on client websites. Here are the links:

    Hi there,

Thank you for the extra information!

You can create a link to your email by adding mailto: in front of your address. For example, the link to [email protected] would be mailto:[email protected].

It’s worth mentioning that Sela has a built in social links menu that you can activate and that will automatically create icons on your behalf.

To create your social links menu:

    • Navigate to Appearance > Menus in your admin area and then select the option tocreate a new menu.
    • Add Custom Links to your social profiles and your email address from the left hand.
    • Once your menu looks as you wish it to on the right, check the box next to Social Menu and save your changes.

Your menu will then display in the footer of your site.

Let me know if that helps or if you have further questions.
