I’m trying to find my “Frontpage Settings” in the Facebook tab of the social section.

I’ve added the URL under accounts and enabled Open Graph meta data in the Facebook tab and even added an admin – though I didn’t think that was relevant – and all I can see is the default settings for just the image URL, no “frontpage settings”.

    Am I missing something?

As always, love these forums and any help would be greatly appreciated!

Still looking for help on this topic guys, hope someone can help me out with a solution.

    Thanks,
    Luke

You edit the “front page” SEO for your site from the actual static page you create as a “page” and then go to that page to edit your settings.

Yoast provides no support here. So you’re left to hope somebody will kindly post a reply if you you’re unable to already Google the dozens of online tutorials and videos on setting up Yoast SEO.

    Best of luck!

    Thanks for the reply neotrope.
Most of the confusion around the original post was that I was seeing something very different in the setup videos and tutorials than what I was experiencing in my setup, and I thought that these “front page settings”, which everyone else had access to and I didn’t (seem to) have might have somehow been important.
    Thanks for clearing it up.

    Hi @lukeg4

Just wondered if you had resolved the issue of the “Frontpage Settings” not showing up for you under Social > Facebook Tab?

I have a client also has this issue, the Frontpage settings do not show up in their wordpress admin.

Would love to find a solution if you have it ??

    Thanks

    Hi,

No, still no resolution for the “frontpage settings” not showing in the Facebook tab of the social settings section, like it does in all the setup tutorials and videos I’ve seen.

As Neotrope has said, you can change individual settings for each page or post from that pages settings, but this is more of a workaround than a solution to the problem.

Here is explanation for “no frontpage settings”, it depends on your general page settings:
