Range values for Rate Limiting Rules

  • Hello!

    I am using Wordfence for three years now, and I really think the options for Rate Limiting Rules could be improved.
    A range of 1-5 views per minute for a visitor, is surely acceptable. Maybe the firewall options provided would rather include values between 5 to 10 views per minute. This is the range where flood and resource abuse shows up.

    A client came back angry at me she can’t access the site anymore, there are no more ressources. She’s a lay person about web and navigation, not getting to deep into security and techical terms, she just want her site to be available to visitors.

    A short investigation revealed it was just the firewall. I woukd REALLY prefer other values. I could set a more convenient limit for humans, like 7-8 visits per minute. But this setting is just plain dumb, she was blocked at 5 visits/minute.
