Remove Author image from post

Go to Setting -> Discussion in Your administration panel and turn profile images off.

OR

Go to Settings > Blog in Blog > Template Tab
look for this line of code
<div style=”float:left; margin:7px”> %post_author_avatar% </div>
and remove it.

Thank you, It worked but can you also suggest how to remove the category. And if you will see the post are showing in full length that is complete post. It should come with brief lines and then read more option.
