jQuery error

  • After updating WordPress and my theme, my map is not showing on my website anymore. The plugin’s developer sent my this message:

    “I went to your site and there is the MSIE error on your site. This is likely due to your theme not being updated to use current JavaScript standards (MSIE is deprecated). the error is coming from –

    https://www.zeltwiese.de/wp-content/themes/customizr/inc/js/fancybox/jquery.fancybox-1.3.4.min.js

    I would be happy to remove the outdated code for you, however it will require FTP details to your site to do so. If you are happy with this, please send the details through in this thread and I will remove the outdated code.

    Please note that making these changes will result in you not being able to update the theme until the developers have fixed this issue. Updating will revert these changes and mean you will need to make them again.”

    Could you please tell me if he’s right?
