• Hi,

For awhile now, my website posts are being reformatted when viewed from the Archive widget. It forces the text to a right justification and changes the font color to a tan. It is hideous and it making my website posts look really unprofessional. I removed the Archive widget so that I don’t have people clicking on pages and viewing them that way. However, I need the archive widget because I have years of posts.

Whether or not they are viewed as drop-down or a list of dates, it does this. Here is an example from a November 2013 post: https://kmjackson.org/2013/11/

    Help!

  • Looks like an oversight by your theme’s developer. Your CSS includes a class “date” which aligns the text to the right and colors it brown, which looks like it was intended to be used for the post date. But your theme also adds the “date” class to the <body> tag when you view a date-based archive page, so that’s why you see the brown text everywhere. As you appear to be using a commercial theme, your best bet would be to contact the theme’s authors for more support. After all, that’s part of what you paid for.
