Converting From Easy Recipe

    I am currently using Easy Recipe which I use to add recipe markup to particular posts for recipes. I have a few questions I wanted to ask.

    Does your plugin work the same as Easy Recipe? In other words, can I add markup to specific posts and not globally to my entire site?

    Does you plugin allow for star reviews?

    Would there be a way to convert from Easy Recipe to your plugin?

    I’m not familiar with Easy Recipe, but I would assume that it manages recipes (ingredients, etc.). ?? WPSSO Schema JSON-LD Markup does not manage content — it creates Schema markup in your webpage headers based on your content. You can check the plugin description for an example, and see here for complete details of the Recipe markup standard https://schema.org/Recipe. Since many of the Recipe details cannot be extracted from a standard WordPress post / page content text, additional custom coding may be required to customize the markup to your liking. There may eventually be (in a few months) a WPSSO extension available to manage recipe ingredients, cooking time, etc., but that’s still a ways down the road.
