Arrows to browse list do not work

I have set my database up to show 15 participants at the front end. When I try and scroll though the list to see 16-30 by either clicking the arrow or number 2 at the bottom of the page the page just automatically scrolls up to the top of the list and the participants do not change. Any ideas?
