Save changes to Database doesn't work

When we try to search and and replace a URL in all tables, it works if it’s a dry search or if we export a SQL script with the changes, but it does not work if we check “Save changes to Database”.
What happens is that the page simply refresh (fast) and nothing happens.
Any tips?
