Facebook Url not showing properly

Hello, every time I add an facebook Url to the facebook section on an author, it does not redirect to the facebook link, instead it adds the url of the post and at the end puts the facebook url…
example:
https://www.mywebsite.comand when I click on the facebook icon of an author I get:
https://www.mywebsite.com/www.facebook.com/authorusername.Could you please help?
