Analytics spam bots

  • So I was glancing through my analytics reports and I see a bunch of spam bots there:

    cookie-law-enforcement-bb.xyz
    popads.net
    magicdiet.gq
    dominateforex.ml
    getlamborghini.ga
    ownshop.cf

    Anyone have any advice on this? Any plugins available, or will this take a more skilled hand than mine? I found some very complex tutorials, or outdated ones. Any advice would be welcome! (PS – I’m not a developer, so go easy on me. I can follow good directions though…)

    Hi there,
    So first you could block those via an htaccess file so they can’t get to your site. Also you could make a filter in Google Analytics to filter those referral domains out
