Change Text for Proceed to Checkout Not Working

I have added the mychild/woocommerce/cart/proceed-to-checkout-button.php and modified the text as suggested, but it is not changing. I have emptied all caches and not luck.
I have a modified cart.php in the same dir and that works fine.
Any ideas?
