    Hello Super Cache,
I have an eCommerce website using Jigoshop and I have been having issues with the cart updating properly. I followed the configuration instructions in this post, https://www.jigoshop.com/documentation/using-caching-plugins-jigoshop/.

I have confirmed with a representative from Jigoshop that I have everything configured properly, but my cart still isn’t updating for guests when they add an item to their cart. It appears the page reloads, but the shopping cart in the top corner of the screen doesn’t update. The cart remains empty.

The only thing that fixes this issue is if I disable the Super Cache plugin or turn caching off. This brings a new set of problems with my page loading time.

So are there any suggestions you have for me? Is there anything else I can look into? I appreciate ANY feedback. Thank you in advance.

  • I could be wrong but try turning on the Don’t cache pages with GET parameters. (?x=y at the end of a url) under Advanced section, this should prevent the cart being cached.

I tried your suggestion this morning and still have the same issue. Cart isn’t updating properly for guests. When someone adds a product to their shopping cart, the cart still remains empty until you navigate to the cart page…..THEN you can see the item you added.

If anyone else has any suggestions, I appreciate it. Surely there are other people who have had this same issue. Thanks to anyone in advance!

I have the same issue! i tried adding /cart/
/checkout/ in the section “not cache these strings” but it′s not working for me…

@carlasaiz I did end up solving the problem.

Apparently the settings in WP Super Cache have to be modified for my website to work. So additional e-commerce pages (store, product) are excluded from the cache in order for the site to work properly. I excluded “store” and “product” pages using the advanced settings on WP Super Cache and now the “empty cart” and “update cart” buttons function properly.

You can try this if you want. Just follow the same format for calling out the “store” and “product” pages. I added it to the “do not cache these strings”. That’s what got my website working.
