Twenty Sixteen infinite scroll

I’m using the latest version of WordPress, Jetpack plugin and Twenty Sixteen theme. I have Infinite Scroll enabled and correctly enabled on Settings > Reading.

I used the Twenty Sixteen out-of-the-box and there was no infinite scroll. The loading gif disappeared and no new posts were loaded. There’s not a “Read more” or “Older posts” button. This is my website and I disabled the Total Cache plugin: https://www.diogonunes.com/blog/

I eventually created a child theme, just to change the style.css. What do I have to do to make your official theme work with your official plugin? Form what I read it should just work.

I tried this link solution, without success ??
