Open Graph for Custom Taxonomies

  • I’m trying to set Open Graph information for our custom taxonomies (as they have archive pages) in order to eliminatethe following FB crawl error:

    The ‘og:url’ property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.

    So far I have looked and looked and not found out how to or even why it isn’t supported by default? The custom SEO Description works for these custom taxonomies (That appears in the admin interface) but for Open Graph it doesn’t appear…. why?

    How can I achieve this?

    The FREE version has an older version of the OG protocol, however the pro version does support integration with the FaceBook APP Id and custom taxonomies.

    We are discontinuing the FREE version of SEO Ultimate soon (after nearly 10 years) to focus on the Pro version from here forward.
