Fatal error when activating the plugin

  • Hi there!

    I just installed the plugin as it looks very promising, but when trying to activate it I get the following error:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /var/www/vhosts/40/150933/webspace/siteapps/WordPress-407302/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/click-tweet/click-and-tweet.php on line 80

    I looked into the code as I know a bit about it and see no reason why this ‘[‘ should be unexpected. I removed and reinstalled the plugin and the problem is still there, so I figured I’d just ask you how this can be resolved.

    I get the same exact error. I hope the plugin author would check what’s up with it.

    Hey @chevindu,

    What version of php are you currently running? It may be that you have an older version of php that doesn’t recognize “[“.
