• Hello,

We’re setting up a ‘resource library’ page for a client uses FacetWP to make the content filterable based on a few parameters. The client wants one of those parameters to be user ratings, and we’ve got WP-Postratings running on the test page.

We were able to get a FacetWP checkbox facet to work beautifully in a widget, that pulls its data from the “ratings_average” variable. Here’s the link to the test page… Look at the “User Rating – WP Postrating” widget, play with it, you can see it works well.

That said we’ve had a bear of a time trying to change the option labels. We want them to say “1 Star,” “2 Stars,” etc. instead of just “1” ,”2″ etc.

You’d think that would be easy, however, FacetWP’s Checkbox widget seems to give no option for altering the labels after they’ve been pulled in, without creating a custom facet type (We’ve tried that already).

We’ve even tried to switch to another ratings plugin (GD Rating System) in hopes of getting a different label to display – that plugin is still live, but is causing no conflicts… and GD offers no variables to leverage for creating this facet widget, so we’d rather stick with WP-PostRatings at this point.

How can we get the option labels to change to “1 Star”, “2 Star” etc?

    Thanks!
