• I am having an issue with login.

I cannot get login to work from the front end at all. It keeps saying wrong username and password.

I tested myself with a user that I just created as well as by clicking through the “new registration” link in the email that is sent out and it keeps saying wrong password while I’m 100% sure the password is right.

All my users encounter the same problem unless logging in using wp-admin which is not how we need this to work.

I read through the threads about Captcha being an issue. I have deactivated and deleted all Captcha plugins.

Still not working. Is there something else that I should be deleting or settings that I need to look at to get this working again?

    Thank you.

Is there any kind of security device added to wp-login.php? Are you using Jetpack Protect?

No security device added and no Jetpack Protect – or at least anything that we had was deleted. We had ReCaptcha, but deactivated and deleted the plugin. Could there be some files left somewhere that are causing this. If so, where would I find them?
