Meta Slider contents disappeared

    As I recommended the plugin to a couple of clients, I wanted to experiment with it myself. I created a slider with a collection of photographs and placed it before a collection of NextGEN gallery thumbnails for comparison. I even asked if the visitor could leave a comment which they may find easier to use and why. All was good, but today I visited the page and there was no slider. I edited the post and found the MS token intact. Then, when I looked at the Meta Slider, there were no images in it, none!

    Could someone shed some light on how this may happen and how to avoid it. It is awfully inconvenient and very embarrassing in the context I used it. Here is the link to the post after I reconstructed the MS:

    I think I got my answer “Don’t use or recommend Meta Slider.” I will just do that.

    Sorry to have missed you posts on this.

    It’s unclear how the images would have disappeared from the slider – I’ve come across this issue before.

    The only thing I can think happened is that the images were removed from the media library either through the UI or from the uploads folder.

    If you could provide more details I’d like to try and help you.

    The above link no longer has a meta slider inserted, I have removed it as well as the plugin.
