Changing Meta Deatils in Homepage

not really, actually. what exactly do you want to change?

On the home page you can place in a meta data such as tags and description. So if you say where bloging about fruit. You could set the home pages meta tags to say Fruit,melons,apples all that jazz and the meta desription to say. Fruit.com provideing everything you wanted to know about friut. I have look around the admin and can see where you do it for blogs but not the home page of the site. Thats what i am look to change.

I didn’t understand the question when I read it yesterday either, but I’m still unsure what you mean now. The “meta” that you are talking about are tags and categories. You can put the tags and categories you use to every post, but also in lists in the sidebar (or whereever). You do have to assign categories and tags to posts though, otherwise they won’t show up. I think you only need to start using categories if I understand what you mean correctly.

Markie632, I know exactly what you are talking about.
I have placed meta tags in the title of all pages – except my home page.
I placed the meta tags using the SEO All in One Pack plugin for each page. But the home page doesn’t accommodate this plug-in. It’s not listed in pages.

How can I get the meta tags in the title of the home page?

Edit ‘header.php’ inside a theme folder to add meta tags.
