Breaking product bundles

  • Your plugin is working great on our regular variable products, but it totally breaks the functionality of the official Product Bundles extension.

    I know you responded to a previous support request about this and said it’s not in your budget to add support for bundles…but we actually don’t need our bundle’s variations to show as radio buttons. We just need the plugin to leave bundled products alone altogether.

    Our bundles don’t even allow for variation selection…the variations are filtered and pre-set so you all you should be able to do is add the bundle to the cart…but when this plugin is activated it says the variation options are not selected (even though none are available).

    I just thought I’d ask if you have any ideas for simply disabling the plugins functionality on bundled products (rather than trying to support converting bundled variations to radio buttons).

    We desperately need this functionality! Any tips or suggestions you could provide would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi strangebiscuit,

    Well, it’s a bit difficult to provide tips, since I have no access to the plugin, so I don’t know how it’s built…I would probably try to use a conditional tag, so the plugin doesn’t load the JS file for this type of products, but it’s just a guess.

    I’ll add an issue on Github, in case someone comes up with a fix
