    Hi,

I have customers using the same theme and they don’t have this issue…

Ok I confirmed a conflict with NextGEN Gallery plugin.

For those having the same issue with NextGEN Gallery plugin, rolling back NextGEN to version 2.0 solve the problem. 2.0.7 and beyond will be conflicting.

    UPDATE:
Finally it’s a no go with 2.0 since perhaps you can access the registration page but Thecartpress Drop Down menu don’t work anymore.

It’s either one or the other…

When activating 2.0 I have this notice:

“The plugin generated 523 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.”

    … here is NextGEN reply::

Looking at the code (from a high overview), it appears The Cart Press plugin is modifying the either/or the WordPress login path or the WordPress register path and in so doing are not insuring the full path is being used in the links they are providing.

As best I can tell, neither the “Register” nor the “Login” links are doing anything except acting as placeholders in this state.

All of this is being done under the /my-account/ segmented URL as well which could cause even further issues with NextGEN Gallery if they are over-writing the general paths to the administration pages.

I tested this with the default, and with NextGEN Gallery active and not active … and I’m not seeing any difference in actions. As you appear to have put the registration into a tab this will obviously be more difficult if the #register bookmark is not doing anything. I would suggest looking to The Cart Press authors to see how best to implement the registration fields within a tab as it appears you have set things on your site as the most likeliest way of moving forward.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

You are quite right. We are going to remove the tab. Next week, we’ll publish a new version with this addition.

    Best regards

Thank you Inigo. I’ll close this thread on the next tcp update.

Hi. I did not see any improvement about this in the new TCP update. Can you please do something? Because of this bug, wanguard is unable to stop registration spam and we have to authorize manually every registration.

    Thank you!
