I think I have confused a subdomain with subfolder. I would rather have a clone (mirror of the main site) within a subfolder – ‘en’ ex: mysite.com/en for the english version.

Also I am aware that some frightened issue with a database could be involved…

Is the website mirror to a subfolder similar to a subdomain?
Any potential problem with wordpress, plugins, theme update?
Should it be done separately to each site – main folder and subfolder?

I want to make it the simplest way possible. I really do not need translation. Both sites comport mostly images and all text is already translated.

As I mentioned I would like to make a English-version clone to a subfolder rather than a subdomain to keep the URL mysite.com/en/… for an English option.

Do you thin a Network option you suggest would be the most suitable option in my case?

I think the network would be best as you only have one installation of wordpress so less to worry about. I don’t have any experience with a WordPress net work though.

Why don’t you put up a new post. “Will a network work for me?” and explain what you want to do again.
