popular / comments / featured hard coded section broken

    The website gets about 130 UBs a day at the moment and I am happy to offer a backlink in a thank you post to anyone that helps me.

    # if you could figure out why the popular / comments / recent posts box no longer works properly i would really appreciate… What i mean is that it is all just one list now (not a box with three separate lists you can alternate between), it is the box under the tags and categories bit on the right.. preview the dream theme for how it should look but it should be fairly obvious what is not working (search dream theme wordpress in google)

    # Further, the comments part of this box do not load any comments for some reason?

    It is not a widget and is hard coded into the theme from what I know… IT stopped working after I added the elements archives / categories / and google ads to sidebar 2/3.

    “FEATURE ARTICLE” is in white in the featured article area on the top left of the homepage (you will need to highlight to see it) but when I change this it changes other parts of the site. IT should be in white and have a dark background around it like in other spots..

    Any help would be grealty appreciated and I can provide answers to any questions people may have..

    theres an error in your header — tacked onto your version, it looks like. Are you using a plugin to “hide” your version of WP?

    as far as the blue goes.. If YOU go google wordpress dream theme, you wil find the demo site. From the demo site, you can bring up a copy of the theme’s CSS (style.css). I just tested it, and plugging the original theme’s CSS into your site results in the dark blue/light blue stuff in the featured post area. It follows then, that the edits you have made to the CSS are what has caused it to disappear. Upload the original stylesheet, thats another option.

    Compare the two — see what you changed, and look at your source, to see what you ought to be looking for in the changes.

    The other thing, im not going to bother with, sorry. The author of that theme indicates he provides support, talk to him perhaps.

    I was more talking about the popular comments box breaking than the blue to red changes… Do you see what i mean with the box changing ?
