Upload media successful but get an error

  • Hi guys, lately I’m getting an awkward error; when uploading an image through the “Add Media” option in post editing, although the image is uploaded successfully, I get the “An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.” error. In that point, I have to make an actual search for the same image, in order to find it and add it in my post. But it’s not visible by default in the media gallery.

    If I upload the images through the Media Library section, then the upload is completed without any problem.

    Any ideas on what this might be? Thank you in advance.

  • Did you install a new plugin or make other changes before this error started? I recommend deactivating your plugins and see if the error still happens. If it doesn’t, activate the plugins one by one until you find the cause.
