Add Location Lookup not working – no-api-keys – missing-key-map-error`

  • Hi,

    I’m unable to use the Add Location lookup feature.

    Getting a warning and an error when loading a page that has the Maps Builder Pro Mashup module on it (New Post & New Page):

    Google Maps API warning:
NoApiKeyshttps://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#no-api-keys

js?v=3.exp&libraries=places&ver=4.5.3:32 Google Maps API error: MissingKeyMapError https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#missing-key-map-error

    I have a clean install of the latest version of WordPress on my server and generated a new Browser API Key.

    The API KEY has been added in the settings page and can see it in the database.

    Only just brought the Pro version today.

    Tried this plugin to add the API Key but betting a different error instead,

    Hi Matt,

    I Logged a ticket yesterday and was told its an issue since google made some changes to their API.

    This morning i fixed the issue and replied to the support ticked informing Steve.

    Hi Jack,

    Yes, we’ve been working on THREE of our plugins which are affected by the new changes to the Google API infrastructure. We plan to have fixes for this and the others next week for sure.

    We have to fix this in a way that doesn’t negatively impact our existing 20K+ active installs, so they need to be properly informed of changes they have to make in their API keys.

    I’ll update this ticket when the fix is rolled out.
