Please upgrade to the latest release 1.7.
    It solves many issues.
    Thanks

Recently upgraded to WordPress 4.6. Need to do universal change on user records, so I downloaded version 1.8.1 of WP Admin UI. When I tried to activate the plug-in, I incurred this error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home/content/g/i/n/gingerandersen/html/forestheightsnc/wp-content/plugins/wp-admin-ui/inc/functions/options-front.php on line 83

Now, I can’t access our web-site, nor can my 120 users!

    Hi,

1/ remove the plugin via FTP
2/ go to your database using phpmyadmin and delete all records with a search like wpui%
3/ add the plugin from your WP Admin
4/ enable some options and roles
    5/ it should work

So, I have to do this from the server? I don’t think I have access.

I’m a newbie at this WordPress stuff. Our community dubbed me Web Admin to develop their woefully inept web-site – and I agreed to help them out. ??

    So…
