• What I want to do is fairly simple in concept but I don’t see any options in WordPress for this.

By default, WordPress doesn’t seem to have pagination for a gallery. To specify, what I’m wanting is pagination for the thumbnail page, not once you click the image. In other words, if my gallery grows to have 40 images I don’t want 40 thumbnails to load on one page, it’ll start to bog down the loading speed of the page.

I’d settle for having the standard WordPress (next page, previous page) feature on my thumbnail page if numbered pagination would be too hard, as long as 40 thumbnails don’t load on one page, I’d prefer about 20 per page.

    Any ideas?

To add additional details, I’m using the (Wp-Canvas Gallery) plugin which just adds options to the default WordPress gallery, I don’t think the plugin would interfere, so it’s just a heads up.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Does anyone have any ideas? Im trying hard to find a help topic on this, but there’s only one that I found which was unresolved. It may help others too if this is a problem that’s gone unaddressed.

Hi, I’m having a hard time with the same case. Did you find any solution? The only plugins I found (Envira for instance) want you to upgrade to premium version for unlocking pagination.

If you have any clue, please share it.

    Thank you very much.
