Images in latest reviews widget appear blurry

That is because of the image size and the way it is getting generated.
Please always try to use as big images as possible, so the actual results can be great.

I don’t think that’s the case. I just uploaded new images for the last 5 reviews at a much larger size and the thumbnails are still blurry in the widget.

You’ll also notice that in my ‘top reviews’ widget in my site’s footer, the top reviewed thumbnail image has lost its proportions.

It appears those two issues occurred at the same time.

Is there anything else that could have caused that to occur?

Just want to add also that it’s only about the first 8-9 latest reviews where the thumbnail isn’t rendering properly.

I adjusted the settings in the widget to show 12 of the latest reviews just to test, and only the first 8-9 were blurry but the next 3 were fine.

Also you’ll notice the top products widget in the footer is rendering the images correctly but the sidebar widget isn’t.

Can I suggest, if you re-generate the thumbnails, what the end result will be? Can you please check that?

Hi, it didn’t seem to help, however I found a fix that has helped and they do look better now.

Basically I’m just making the source product images 150 x 150 in size, which seems to help.

Try using bigger images in the same size and it should work too. ??
