I’ve made some custom links in a submenu. However when you enter the URL there is no facility to target the window. I’d like the links to open into a new window but they simply open in the same one.
You can see this is if you use the sub menu links under the main link called “Links” on my page.
Does anyone know how I can target the URL’s please?

  • Hello borismoggy,

When viewing the menu administration page wp-admin/nav-menus.php, click on Screen Options (top right), Hidden away in the dropdown there, below the usual Show on screen checkboxes, is another line of Show advanced menu properties checkboxes.
Just check the box for Link Target and then all your Menu Items will have the additional option of Link Target : “Same window or tab” or “New window or tab”.

Hope this will solve your problem.

    Thanks
