    Hi there,

I’ve been through all the support posts, confirmed PHP version, wp_head() and wp_footer() exist, gone through your documentation and tried different settings on the technical tab. No luck.

Oddly I see css for #responsive-menu-button that is set as display:none at max-width 1200px … and if I display block it seems to be at the bottom of the page.

    Hi there,

Do you have a URL I can check and have you tried hitting “Update Options” once more ti see if it refreshes the options?

    All the best

    Hi there,

Is it possible to send me a WP login via my site contact form as it seems like a strange one in that not all the CSS is being saved.

    All the best

@responsive Menu: I’m quite sure you mean well but please never ask for login credentials on these forums.

The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice. However, by giving someone the keys to your house, you are trusting they won’t steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

If something was to go wrong, then you, the plugin author, may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.

esmi how can I debug without login details exactly?

Surely this is a common practise as I have provided logins to other plugin developers on numerous occassions before.

    All the best

I’m sorry but it is not something we allow on these forums and we will step in when we do manage to spot such a request.

@esmi but is there a reason for this?

If you can outline alternative ways of me helping those who are trying to use my plugin then of course I am willing to listen but without an alternative I am left in limbo where I can’t help those who need it.

Im sure the people coming to these support forums aren’t going to accept “Sorry I can’t help you” as an answer?

I try my best to help everyone in need on these forums but as you know everyones setup and environment is different and I can’t find all bugs myself so I need to be able to see other peoples setups to debug strange issues like this one.

    Please advise

If you can outline alternative ways of me helping those who are trying to use my plugin

Walk them through the usual troubleshooting steps (disabling/resetting plugins, switching to the default theme etc).
Ask to see log files if that is appropriate.
Ask for screen shots of setting pages.
Ask for details of their server environment.
If appropriate, view the front end of the site as a visitor – possibly using a tool like Firebug.

What you do within your own support resources/system is not our business but but never ask for logins here.

    Hi Kevin,

I finally got to the bottom of it!

Turns out you had the value #transparent for the menu button background colour and that was causing the button CSS to not load and hence why it wasn’t showing correctly.

Please check and confirm all is ok your end.
